What you need to DO

These are two of the books I am currently reading. I bought the book on the left first, but was having trouble getting through it so I picked up the book on the right. I know why I was having trouble with the book on the left–  NUTRITION. Nutrition has always been the hardest part of staying healthy for me.  Although I may fatigue during a workout, I would always choose a workout over trying to change my eating.

Recently, I did wrote about how thankful I was that I began to enjoy reading because I never found actual interest in it until last year. I found books on personal development and have been reading consistently since then.  Take a look at the picture above.  What stands out to you?  It wasn’t until I put the two books side by side that I realized the missing piece when working towards a goal….. START.  That’s it.  Once you make the decision to START, you are heading in the right direction.  You may encounter unintended obstacles, but as long as you keep moving consistently, you will get to where you want to be.

I have to remember to be proud of the fact the I have made the choice to START moving toward my goals.  Some days may be slower, and some days they me be faster, but I am moving in the right direction, and you are too so long as you START.  I have changed my eating habits drastically and have helped teach my family healthy eating as well.  I know I have a lot more to learn, but I am proud of how far I have come.  This is a lifestyle- not a diet- so I know I have a long time to continue learning and sharing what I learn.
